Frequently Asked Questions
-
What do I read when I'm finished with all my print books?
It will take some extra energy on your part. You won't be able to just pick up a book and read it. You can put books on hold through the library catalog. Once we locate the book(s) we will message students on MONDAYS in SCHOOLOGY for pick up times!
-
When can I turn my library books in?
Please turn library books or textbooks to the library drop box available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays from noon - 3pm. Masks are required. If you missed these times, please turn in to the main office. Or email Mrs. Peterson to set up a time petersondj@mukilteo.wednet.edu
-
What should I do if I damage or lose a book?
Please let Mrs. Peterson know if a book has been damaged. We will work together to repair it or to determine if it needs to be replaced. If a book is lost, let Mrs. Peterson know and you can discuss whether you'd like to replace the book or pay the fine.
-
How many books can I check out? How long can I keep them?
3 print books (not including textbooks) and 2 electronic/audio books for a 3 week lending period. You can always return a book before the end of the 3 week check out period to check out a new one!
-
What if I am not finished with my book on the due date?
If you are not finished with a book when it's due, you can renew it! Please email Mrs. Peterson or Mrs. Wright to renew it by the due date to avoid late notices and the ability to check out new books. If the book is on hold for another student, we will not be able to renew it and will it returned asap! Thank you for understanding.
