Didn't make it to an information session during this school year?
- Refer to this RS Info Session PowerPoint, all necessary steps included in this presentation. Read through all the steps for fall quarter enrollment
- You can find all necessary forms here: Running Start Forms
- Need an unofficial or official transcript? Electronically request for one through Parchment (Parchment: Make sure to "add" Mariner High School as your school first before you submit your transcript request to the college. Otherwise you will be charged a small fee. )
- If you have specific questions, contact the Community College Running Start Office via email and/or your assigned school counselor
- Get all of your paperwork done by the last day of school (June 23rd), counselors will not be available to sign paperwork over the summer. Get your paperwork done early to ensure you can register for the courses you need for Fall quarter. Counselors will continue signing RSVEF on Friday August 18th.
What is Running Start?
11th and 12th grade students can earn dual credit. Students earn college credit while meeting high school graduation requiments/ credits.

Running Start Costs
Tuition is free. Students are responsible for textbooks and supplies, quarterly class fees, excess college credits (over 1.2 FTE).
Eligibility Requirement:
Students must place into English 101+ and Math 100+ for tuition to be covered by Mukilteo School District
Transportation to the College: Mariner High School is centrally located between Edmonds CC and Everett CC. It is important to know how and if you can get yourself to the college. If public transportation is your option, please know the bus schedule to get to the college. If you are riding the bus, allow yourself over an hour for transportation to and from Mariner.
Can I take Art, Occupational, and PE?: Yes! Work with your counselor to make sure you take all the required classes towards your high school diploma.
