Hello! My name is Maddy Young and this is my 2^nd year teaching in the Mukilteo School District. I absolutely love working at Endeavour, and what makes working here even more special is that I attended Endeavour Elementary as a student! I also attended Harbour Pointe Middle School and Kamiak High School.  I graduated from Washington State University with a BA in Elementary Education and an endorsement in English Language Learning. Go Cougs!! Recently, I received my Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University.

My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, snowboarding, reading books, being outdoors and cooking at home! I also love to travel. I lived in Italy for 6 month in 2017. Since then, I have really developed a love for learning new cultures and places.

As a teacher I hope to teach my students valuable academic and social content they will need throughout their life. Even more so, I hope to inspire my students to reach their dreams and become the best versions of themselves they can be, meanwhile instilling confidence in them to believe in themselves and all their special capabilities.
